Naturalist Guide & Experience Facilitator
Kieron has been a nature enthusiast since birth. Spending twelve years in Boy Scouts and growing up in rural Wisconsin provided plenty of opportunities to explore the great outdoors. In high school he often spent weeks canoeing in Canada or backpacking in the Rocky Mts. While earning his Biology degree from UW-Madison, he began what became a life-long passion for international travel, first spending a semester studying Spanish and Tropical Ecology in Costa Rica and Panama, and then attending a UNESCO graduate program in Europe. Since college Kieron has worked in restoration ecology with the BLM, National Park Service and WA State Department of Ecology and traveled to 15 countries. In 2007 he began his current career as an adventure tour guide, and has since worked with Cruise West, Adventures by Disney and EverGreen Escapes. Kieron has lived, worked and played in a full spectrum of environments from deserts to rain forests, and he brings interpretive and survival skills as well as extensive team building experience to the Global Sessions team. “I love to share knowledge and my thirst for adventure with those willing to take the road less traveled and seek inspiration in nature.”
